Felt Layer

Adding felt to the backing.

Wet & Set

 Tacked down and shaped.

Wet to set.  Now I wait for it to dry.

I sampled the yarns last night and they didn't run, so I decided to go ahead and wet the whole thing.

Next I add padding (I got some purple felt) and backing (a nice lightly patterned purple cotton).

Progress

Strings tucked to the back.  Need trimming (or tucking behind backing.  Need to attach the tab.  Maybe a little blocking (tho it's touchy with the white).

Tucked the Body

Finish tucking the loop straps.  Add purple chain, eyes.  Fiddle the bits.

Tuck Tuck Tucking

Tuck tuck tucking ends.  Mindless, but it's got to be done.

Another Rainy Day

 Another rainy day production.

Filling in, tucking in, adding the chain (and eyeballs).  Then backing.

Second Cat Done

Second cat done.  Now to finish the field, fill in bare spots, finish tabs at top, add purple chain.

I weave at the speed of light:  the closer I get to the goal the longer it takes.

Nice way to spend a rainy day.  8-]
